Welcome to the world, Grace Marie

Heather and Todd's daughter was born yesterday, which was today's date in China. Sweet baby Grace was born at 6 lbs 2 oz and is doing well.

I have never been more in love with a baby other than my own.

Welcome to the world, sweet girl. I love, already.

First day of school

I can't believe the day has come. Today was the first day of preschool for Will. He was excited, but he's always excited about everything.

I'm so glad Todd was able to go with us to drop him off on the first day. When I picked Will up he said "Hi mommy! Where's daddy??" Thanks. ha ha

Family pictures from the beach

A few shots of the three (well, four) of us.

Daddy's boy being silly.

Just the 2 of us

Here I am at 10 weeks pregnant. That's about how much I was showing with Will at about 18-19 weeks. They say you show earlier the 2nd time, they weren't kidding.

Success!!

I didn't even have to threaten him or anything. He didn't get out of bed once. Here's a sneak peak at his very first time sleeping in his new big boy bed.

Okay, so he's a little weird. At least he's asleep.

He's going to hate me when he's older

This has wedding slide show material written all over it......

A Will funny

One night while on vacation I was laying in bed with Will and we were singing songs and talking. I asked him if he wanted me to sing another song and he said yes. I asked him what he'd like me to sing. He responded with...........

JENKUS LOVES ME! (My bible told me so!)

OMG, I almost peed my pants. That kid just kills me sometimes.

The Gulfarium

The camera battery died about 2 minutes after we got there - figures. But I guess it works out because Will pretty much hated it.

I mean come on, dolphins, sea lions, sharks, sea turtles, rays, crabs, otters, penguins. What more could a kid want?

Yep, hated it. Begged to go back to the condo and just leave. Refused to enjoy any of the 6 minute long shows. HA

Anyway, here are the few pictures we got before the camera went tango uniform.

The dolphins swimming in their pitifully small tank.

Will and Todd looking at one of the aquariums.

Our condo

First of all - let me say that Waterscape is AWESOME! We will be going back to stay again and again. Everything was so nice, our unit was great, the amenities were great and the staff was friendly.

Here's the view from our unit - we were on the 5th (out of 6) floors and faced East - towards the pier and the beach.

Here are some of our specific unit. It is a 2 bedroom plus a bunk room, 2 1/2 bath, 1292 sf. unit. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us.

Master bathroom

Second bedroom and bathroom

Kitchen - with stainless appliances and granite countertops

Living/dining area

Bunk room - Will loved having his own little room

The common hallway - it was nice that it was enclosed.

The amenities courtyard - with 2 big pools, a kiddie pool and a lazy river.

Kiddie pool - vacation pictures

You guys got a quick preview of vacation pictures. Here's the first blog of actual info and pictures. I have a TON of pics, so this will probably take several posts worth.

Here's Will at the kiddie pool - splash area. He had a BLAST! The water was only about a foot deep in the deepest spot, so we just sat and let him have at it. Which was kind of difficult with the 40 over protective parents standing in the water in the way of all the kids.

They had a pirate ship water slide and Will loved going down it.

There were animals that sprayed water. Yes, that's my child trying to use it like a water fountain. Have I said lately that he's crazy?

I dunno, I guess he's used to a much bigger boat - esp. something with a bigger engine.

Laying in the water

He finally got around to "touching a ray".

Will loves his beach ball, but I'm not so sure his beach ball loves him.

My gorgeous husband supervising in the water for just a moment before sitting back down.

And in case you didn't know, you will now - because I'm obviously showing - ha ha

Will had a great time in the kiddie pool, but I have to say he loved the big pool more. We spent most of our pool time there. Look for more pictures of that pool in a later post. :)

It's official - I'm pregnant

I know, I know. A lot of people have known - some for even a while. But today was my first official doctor's appointment and I was able to sneak in an ultrasound as well. There was a happy (I guess), bouncing little baby in there. Complete with a face, arms and a little round body.

I'm going to throw caution to the wind and officially accept the fact that this is real. We're having a 2nd baby - March 22 - give or take a few.

So begins the big boy room

Yes, I know I'm skipping talking about vacation, but that will take a while. I'll come back to it in the next day or two.

As you all saw from a previous post, I rearranged a few bedrooms upstairs about 6 weeks ago. Our former guest room was a junk/craft room for about a month, but the transition has officially begun. Today we bought a twin mattress and box springs. I've had his bedding since about February.

We went to Home Depot and Will helped pick out blue and red paints. Todd is currently upstairs priming over the brown. After Will's in bed tonight the red and blue colors are going up on the walls.

I think Wednesday night will be Will's first night in the new room. He did FANTASTIC on vacation sleeping in a big boy bed. We actually took down the crib a few days after we got there. He did really well and slept all night, every night w/o issue.

We're waiting another month or two before finishing his room - we need to order his furniture, etc.

But we are definitely on the way there - officially a big boy.

Beach pictures - the first 2 days.

I'll come back later and add more details around the pictures, but for now, I'll just load them.
