We took the boat out on Saturday the 26th for the first time of the year. I'm not sure who was more excited - Will or Todd.
Once again, seeing the boat on the lift, just freaks me out. I don't know how they do it without dropping it.
One the boat was safely in the water, we loaded up our stuff and got ready to head out. I was surprised to see how much Will remembered from last summer. He hadn't forgotten a thing and was ready to go. :)
Mitch put up a new sign at the docks
Seriously, is this not the most gorgeous kid you've ever seen? Swoon!
The gas docks/ship store and restaurant. Apparently another restaurant owner has bought Choto Steaks and Seafood and is going to give it a whirl. We'll see how that goes.
Will was very excited to see cows at the lake. So we pulled up closer so he could check them out.
We ended up heading towards Concord and anchored by the Cove Park. The sailboats at the Yacht Club were lonely, I guess. LOL
Again, have you ever seen a kid this cute? He makes my heart melt. And he looks so old - wearing his daddy's hat. And my husband - swoon!
The boys started off splashing their feet in the water, but then Todd couldn't stand it anymore. He'd forgotten to bring his bathing suit, but he'd remembered his new wetsuit. LOL
Todd had to make a big production about getting in the water for the first time. LOL After that, Will couldn't resist pushing daddy in - over and over.
Will got in briefly, but decided it was way too cold and got back out of the water.
Okay, here's a picture of me just to prove I was there. LOL
All snuggled up in a towel and ready to go home.

I have a feeling this is going to be a GREAT summer. After we came home from the lake, Will took a 3 hour nap. Todd had to wake him up for dinner. :)
