Construction of a wooden playset - Day 5

Saturday - finally a stretch of time to really get some work done. And boy, did he! Todd worked for about 9 hours on Saturday and made a lot of progress on the play set. He started by finishing securing the walls on the playhouse and then began to attach the railings upstairs.

Will kept climbing up the ladder to "help daddy". I'm sure Todd was really enjoying the help.

Actually, Will's a pretty good help. He can bring boards to daddy and he can place screws to be drilled. Todd said that Will actually has "mad mechanical skills" already.

After the deck floor was secured, it was time for Will to nap. All that work must have worn him out because he slept for 2 1/2 hours. Wow, oh wow! So I helped Todd with the lower level railings and the bench.

Once the lower level was complete, it was off to the garage to construct the roof.

Todd got to where the playhouse portion was complete. Will was LOVING it!
